This is one of my go-to quiet spaces when everything else feels chaotic. Thoughtful selection, peaceful atmosphere, and kind staff. A small shop, but it makes a big difference when you need to breathe and reset.

Beautiful and nicely laid out bookstore with something for everyone. The sections are well labeled and it is easy to find the type of book you are seeking. They also have moleskin and other nice journals, pens, calendars, and other office supplies. In addition, they have graphic novels, glasses, and games. There are bargains in the basement.

A wonderful indie bookstore (aren’t they all though?!) but I especially love that they make their values known and support community efforts that take care of people. I love supporting business that stand up to fascism and help educate our community.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I was able to chat with one of the employees for a bit that helped me find the author I was searching for. Would recommend shopping here to support a local and independent bookstore.

Phoenix has moved, transformed, and reinvented itself so many times...always rising again as the most pleasant place to shop for new books in all of VT. Expansive, carefully curated collections, wonderful environments to browse in, and a friendly staff. The new location right on Church St is great... a long space, like a train of books that has pulled into Church St. station. Bravo Phoenix, keep going!

Great book store in Town. Many books and merchandises that u could buy in the shop. They sold the newest books that u should have in the current year, but there were also a spot for discounted books. They also sticked some notes on the shelfs about some of the books' description, which were unique for the customers to know about the books.

Cute local bookstore in Burlington downtown. In the front is regular book sections. Mid and back sections are mostly kids, stationary, toys and cards. The staff were very friendly. I asked some questions regarding a certain merchandise but they didn’t have. Readable pricing at the area. They do have state tax and city tax. I got a fun birthday card from the store. Great design!

This is a huge bookstore, with front side of it mainly has gift items and accessories. Middle and back side of the store have all kinds of books, including children’s books, greeting cards, toys and board games. Each book section was clearly marked with its category. The store is very clean and tidy. There were plenty of staff in the store keeping things in place, helping customers with questions and also do the checkouts. We bought some greeting cards, stickers and a kid’s story book from the store. Prices were decent for all the items. The checkout process was quick and easy.

I stopped in just to kill some time. What a fabulous bookstore! I often find bookstores difficult to browse in - too many volumes on the shelf and nothing to draw the eye to anything specific. The displays here are so well done. I love the note cards next to some of the prominently displayed books, on which staff have written personal notes or observations about the book. The day I was in, the first display was all books that are green - in color! It made for an eclectic and interesting set of books! Such a creative idea! Helpful staff, but not so "helpful" I felt them peering over my shoulder :). I look forward to returning! So many books to pick from!
